Automechanika: window to the world

 

More than one third of all trade visitors came from outside Germany to Frankfurt. Again, the strongest international visitor nations were Italy, Great-Britain, France, the Netherlands and Belgium together with Luxemburg.

Once more, the strongest increase (in percent) was recorded from Eastern Europe, the Americas and Asia. About 150.000 trade visitors came to Automechanika 2002. For five days they flooded through the halls and the international spectrum of car parts and accessories, workshop and filling-station equipment.

The origin of trade visitors of Automechanika focusses on the following business sectors:

  • Workshops

  • Trade

  • Industry (Automobile manufacturers, automotive equipment/OEM-parts, automotive spare parts/accessories, workshop equipment)

  • Service stations

  • Services

                   

Where decision-makers get together

 

It is the boss himself looking for trail-blazing investment decisions: more than 75% of the trade visitors had the necessary decision-making competence for purchasing.

What is more: Automechanika plays an important or even a very important role for purchasing decisions and obtaining information for more than 80% of trade visitors.
